Community Support
Friends from the Optalis Day Centre help us with the work every month. We in turn give our support to the Growing Places Berkshire Charity in Wokingham and at their farm at Stratfield Turgis

Fundraising Campaign
Our JustGiving campaign raised the funds for the revamp of the car park at Simon's Wood. A huge thank you to the local community for supporting the funding.

Finance Projects
A number of boardwalks throughout the sites have been funded by Finchampstead Parish Council, National Trust Reading along with various private donations.

Planting Initiatives
A significant occasion in Simon's Wood was the planting of 750 Hazel saplings as an example of how the woodland is managed. This planting will create an understory beneath the mature Pine and Birch trees.

Individual Support
The Centenary Trail Waymarkers in Simon's Wood were funded by local resident Mervyn Simmonds.

Volunteers
Volunteers bring a wealth of experience to the various tasks required and many have received long service awards from the National Trust.
