About Us
The team at Friends of Finchampstead Ridges is committed to promote conservation throughout all the sites.
The volunteers work closely with National Trust Rangers all year round to maintain the landscape, preventing the encroachment of silver birch and pine scrub on the heathland, and rhododendron in the woodland. These invasive species, if not managed, could result in the loss of important natural habitats”.
Volunteers from all walks of life bring their unique expertise and resources into everything we do. While there is always more that can be done, there is no doubt that we are making a significant impact.
